…but the boutique is closed.
It has been a truly bitter-sweet decision to make…After (nearly) 3 years, things are going to change a bit. Expect more product collaborations, Pelliclaude brand handmade-things, and the potential for pop-up appearances in 2020! Just keep an eye on the blog and/or @Pelliclaude social.
Time in the Arcade Building on Main has been an unparalleled experience that was at times filled with high-energy enthusiasm, and at other times, mind-numbing monotony. I’ve had the opportunity to watch the building undergo renovations and come back to life from the inside, with businesses moving in (and out) as changes were made. I’ve learned a lot form having run the boutique, and in all honesty, I am ready to move on to something a little different.
What ‘something different’ looks like
The main mission of the business will stay the same: to support, and help create space for local art and music. That means continuously working with other small businesses, artists and organizers to offer a new perspective on “handmade” and “local”. I’ll be focusing more on the website in coming months, so expect more blog posts! I’ll also be tweeking the kinds of products I make, and services offered…it will all be up soon! (Hopefully…)
Keeping up with new projects and trying to make time for mental rest is going to be my next challenge, but the fruits of success will be sweet. 2020 is off to a great start already, and I am so very excited to see where this new adventure takes me.
